Mountain Retreat - A Hill Country Resort

Amazing resort

Pros: The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The resort had great facilities to offer even for toddlers. Great view of the valley and tea gardens.

Cons: I think the menu provided for room service did not have all the items. Off the menu items could be known only if the staff told you. Certain items in the snack menu should be made available all throughout the day.

An excellent stay over the clouds!

Pros: Excellent location over a hill, overlooking a small settlement on the outskirts of Ooty. Being at a height, the entire resort was covered in cloud and mist and it was just surreal. Rooms were large, nice and clean. Excellent network reception and good quality wifi which I would not expect in a hotel, let alone in a hotel at such a secluded location. Entire property is beautifully managed and it makes one feel that we are amidst the raw nature.

Cons: Food items available were limited. But nonetheless, I can’t complain as taste and price was par for the course.

Pros: Best view one can get in a resort in Ooty hands down

Pros: Excellent location and a well maintained property.

Pros: Location was quite good. Did not think in spite of being close to the city which is like 4-5 km away it was calm and quite.

Cons: The food menu was not upto the mark. Felt bit expensive. The options was also very less.

Great property for a few days’ stay!

Pros: Great service. The staff was helpful. The food was great. The main attraction is the location. The property is very well maintained and the reception staff arranged all the sightseeing trips. The whole trip was seamless.

Cons: The in room wifi was a little problematic, but worked ok for the most part.

Pros: It's in an excellent location, all the staffs were helpful and friendly, the food was good even though they can do better for the price we pay for the accommodation. Would definitely visit again!

Cons: The price for the stay is a bit expensive.
