Dhole's Den Bandipur

Pros: The property is located at the edge of the tiger reserve which makes it very much accesible to the safari booking center.

Cons: The only inconvenience is the 1-2 kms stretch which is very rough till the property.

Despite absence of jungle safaris, we greatly enjoyed our stay at Dholes den.

Pros: It is set in a beautiful quiet setting The sounds one heard were only from nature, which to us was very pleasing. Excellent food and service from staff. Birdwatching early mornings and most of the day time too was excellent Girish the guide is dedicated and knowledgeable.

Cons: Unfortunately for no fault of the resort the national park was closed to visitors due to farmers and government dispute. So we missed going on jungle safaris. Squirrels caused some problems in the room by making holes in the luggage to access anything that they could get hold of . Once we learnt it the hard way( holes in my backpack and suitcase!) we made sure we were safe. Message is all food should be locked away from the greedy squirrels!

Pros: Very homely place, could easily engage with the staff there and they were always willing to cater to our requirements

Cons: A little pricey.

Pros: It was a family get-together and we all enjoyed it thoroughly. We came together from different parts of the world, and Dholes Den was the perfect place for a very relaxing stay. The room and bed were very comfortable, and the lovely nature and forest setting made the surroundings peaceful and beautiful. The forest walks were refreshing. The food and service were amazing, and the staff members were very friendly and welcoming. A wonderful place to unwind and spend quality time with family. Highly recommended.

A classy eco resort nestled by the Bandipur hills and greenery

Pros: A lovely eco resort nestled in the Bandipur forest reserve. Owned and managed by a passionate for sustainable tourism couple.

Cons: The only negative thing was a poor approach road that tires you completely. Then it’s also a good intro to the remoteness of the resort totally invisible till you hit the main gate of the resort

Pros: Dhole's Den is a gem. We (4 people) stayed at the Garden mansion and it was very comfortable. The property is green and beautiful, with a small pond where one can opt for fishing. The staff is helpful and took us for various activities, like the farm visit, bird watching and sunset tea. The food is exactly like home-made food - healthy, simple and delicious. They also helped us with the Bandipur Safari which was an awesome experience. The lounge is very inviting and has a brilliant collection of books.

Wonderful relaxing stay in a great location with superb food.

Pros: Location was perfect for a relaxing holiday . Peaceful surroundings except for the night prowlers either elephant or leopard outside the premises. Enough space walk and enjoy the birds within the property. Food was exceptionally good.Staff were helpful.

Cons: The road leading to the property but it isn’t a reflection on the property at all A short bouncy ride.

Pros: The personal touch of the Owner Karthik. The rooms are large and comfortable. The food was just amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Awesome how Karthik made a plan to drop us off
