Pros: Wonderful place very close to a beautiful beach. It's a cozy guesthouse located in a calm area with clean rooms and great dinner. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it!

Pros: Perch Next Door is one of my best Booking experiences ever. They have great crew that will help you with everything you need, a professional Theyyam guide, and the food Jyotish cooks is amazing.

Pros: Jyotish the guesthouse keeper was absolutley wonderful. He was very helpful and cooked awsome food. Jithin the Tuktuk driver that works closely with the guesthouse is also an amazing Theyyam guide, the best in Kannur! We had an amazing experience exploring the Theyyam culture. The beach is nice and close by, and the rooms are quite nice. I highly recommend.

Pros: Everything was perfect. Jyothish's hospitality and cooking is amazing and it is good value. He put me in contact with Jithin who arranges Theyyam visits - I caught a fire Theyyam which was one of the best most intense experiences of my life. The building is clean, rustic and cool in the forest. I saw a civet and some huge bats there too. The beaches nearby are silent and picture perfect, especially at sunset. I stayed for 2 nights, 3 might have been more ideal especially if you want to see a Theyyam. The villagers nearby are extremely friendly and curtious. I felt so welcome and hope to return. Transport can also be arranged for you to the station/airport for minimal cost. I'm a very experienced traveller and this is a top tier location to visit. I looked into other places and this was cheaper including everything. Thank you so much for my visit.

Cons: Only thing to mention is it may be worth bringing an umbrella for the heat.
