Hanging Huts Resorts

Pros: The staff were extremely welcoming. We were delayed on the Ooty train but we pre-ordered dinner which was very good. The location was beautiful and the surrounding gardens, were well maintained.

Cons: The short road to the hotel was a steep dirt track with many potholes. Some cars would struggle.

Loved this quaint little place

Pros: The property is nestled among the tea plantation away from the crowd. Great to get up to the birds chirping. The rooms were big and clean with a comfortable bed.

Cons: Food could be better. I do recommend the biryani and pepper chicken. South Indian breakfast was also good.

Pros: Had a great experience at Hanging Huts resort. The location and the view from the balcony is simply mind blowing. The room are pretty clean, sufficiently specious and with adequate amenities. The surrounding are well maintained with lots of flowers and plants. The way to the resort is amazing with a great sunset view point very close to the property. Highly recommend if you are looking a stay in Kotagiri.

Pros: Location is serene and surrounded with tea estate. Property is well maintained and rooms given you traditional kerala style experience and views are breathtaking. Rooms are well maintained and very clean and comfortable. Property is easily approachable to main road may be 1.5-2km.Breakfast was very good. They take special care of the food menu and ask in advance as what you would like to have and tailor it in line with your expectations. It was like home food for me and i will not go to any restaurant whenever i come to kothagiri. I have found my resort to stay whenever i come next to kothagiri. Give it a try and you will not be dissapointed. Special thanks to owner who was willing to support at each and every instant and wonderful support staff who kept you updated on regular basis and eager to help. Overall a wonderful experience even though it was a short one.

Cons: Nothing which i didnt like may be a little more options on breakfast like making some items complementary like Egg/ Bread which is chargeable if you choose south indian menu. I don't see this as a major drawback but this is something which property can think about.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Hanging Huts. Amazing views, good food, lovely hospitality, long walks, serene and quiet place. We loved everything about Hanging Huts. We will come back for sure !

Brilliant stay

Pros: The accommodation was very comfortable. The location, views and ambience was amazing. The view from the room was stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and totally enjoyed the dinner by the bonfire.

Wonderful stay

Pros: The location was awesome. The room was nice, spacious and clean. The food tasted just like home cooked and was rich and tasty

Cons: One of the mattresses in our room was sunken from the side which was uncomfortable to sleep. Complimentary tea and coffee could be given

Pros: The overall stay was truly relaxing and peaceful 😊 Homemade food was yummy and tasty. The scenic location was soothing to the eyes and mind. Staff were helpful and made our stay a memorable one.
