Perch by the sea

Pros: The location was dreamy. A beautiful little sandy bay sits directly below this property. We stayed in the old annex and food is served in the delightful garden. Our room was of a good size and the bed comfortable.

Cons: We would have liked a cotton sheet under the top cover of the bed. However, the location is so idyllic that small matters such as that can be overlooked.

Relaxing beautiful place to stay with sea views and beach and great staff

Pros: We had a sea view which was beautiful, beach down some steps, staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious

Good, value for money

Pros: Beach view was exceptional... Meet's the expectations

Cons: Building is pretty old and stinking

Pros: Great Location. Many thanks for your hospitality. We arrived @ 2 in the morning in Kannur and were given room to rest till check in , which is unprecedented.

Cons: Annexe had lots of unfinished groundworks / trip hazards to contend with Beach below quite difficult to access / not appealing to swim in

Pleasant holiday stop

Pros: The staff- Abhinand and Karan were very kind and of great help and support. The view was amazing, the stay was very pleasant. We missed the chance for Theyyam, but is in our to do list for next stay. A few recommendations: 1. A fan in the outdoor seating area. 2. More Veg food options

Fantastic experience, great value for money

Pros: It's a location from your dreams, a heavenly haven by the ocean with a fine beach which is almost private. The staff is superb, very kind guys, and food is also great, especially seafood. Highly recommendable.

Cons: Don't expect everything to work perfectly, it's not a luxury accommodation, but minor issues are easily fixed thanks to the extremely helpful staff.

A little spot in paradise

Pros: A perfect little spot to relax. A beautiful garden with hammoks covered by shady coconut trees over looking the sea. Below is a small beach with very few people around. Not touristy mostly locals, very peaceful and lovely sea breeze. The shady garden means you can stay outside all day without sunburn. The staff are lovely kind and helpful and the food is amazing and delicious.

Pros: In a great spot, from the garden with a beautiful view of the sea—and by descending just one staircase—you practically find yourself on your own, on a nearly private beach, although the official beach is only a few minutes’ shaded walk away. The accommodation itself is simple, not new, but well-maintained and reasonably clean. The staff are friendly; if you want to have a dinner, you need to order in advance (and no lunch, but anytime can get an omlette or toast with buttar and jam), and while nothing extravagant is offered, what they make is delicious. The owner is also very helpful—when we needed to go into Kannur to take care of something, he took us there for free and brought us back. We primarily came to watch the Teyyam dance, and they were able to help with that too; they have a great contact who knows when and where a genuine, locally organized Teyyam will take place in the area.

Pros: The location and the affordable prices. The staff are very kind and hospitable. The cook's food was delicious. The private beach is the winner!!
