Munnar Majestic Resort with Pool

Breathtaking view

Pros: The view is everything in this place. You are surrounded by mountains, and the landscape is breathtaking. Both the room and the bathroom were spacious and clean. There is a pool which is really nice, however, the water was a bit too cold during our stay. The staff was very friendly, we needed to eat a breakfast 30 minutes before normal serving and they accommodated for us. The breakfast was tasty. It is a buffet, so you are not hungry after.

Cons: The bed could have been a bit more comfortable. There was an unpleasant smell from the pipes in the bathroom. Lastly, the location is shown incorrectly, so it would be inconvenient without the car.

Pros: Rooms were nice and clean. Excellent service from the staff. Very good breakfast and dinner. I would definetly book this again!

Cons: Very steep property. Not for people with disabilities.

Pros: Everything. Thanks to Vicky. He cooked all the meals as per our choice. Thanks to Kartik for his help whenever we needed. He was just a phone call away. Sajith received us well and guided.

A calm and beautiful place.

Pros: Beautiful location. Exceptional infinity pool with views over the mountains. Clean rooms, great breakfast, helpful staff.

My Experience

Pros: Overall it is good. Staff is very friendly. The rooms are very clean.

Cons: They can add at least bicycle rentals inside the resort itself to go around the nearby places of the resort. Because there is no much activity other than swimming pool.

Pros: Great views. Tea & coffee in room. Staff friendly and attentive. Loved the infinity swimming pool. Dinner was acceptable.

Welcoming staff, great atmosphere, lovely shower :)

Pros: The staff were all so lovely and accommodating even when we were late for breakfast. Arun was very welcoming when we arrived and throughoutour stay. The room and bathroom were very spacious and the shower was lovely and warm. They had a campfire for the guests in the evening which was a lovely touch.

Cons: The room was not as fresh as it looked in the photographs. Loved the pool but it was freezing- wonder if something could be done about this? Also the breakfast was a bit dry, we were a little late, but if there was a way to keep it tasting fresh that would be great.

Would stay again

Pros: The property is in a good location. The view is amazing! The bed is comfortable and clean. The staff are lovely and the breakfast is very good. The room we stayed in was big.

Cons: The pool area needs some TLC. The way to the rooms is very steep so not suitable if you have limited mobility. The room could do with a deep clean and then it would have been perfect.

A lovely hotel in stunning location with very helpful staff

Pros: A beautiful modern property in wonderful surroundings. Spotlessly clean. High quality bedding and toiletries. A good restaurant on site. I wish we could have stayed longer. Karthik and the other staff were so helpful.
