Hotel Hive Inn - Kozhikode

Pros: Liked it as it was next to the Bazaar.. amazing shopping.. but still quiet

Pros: Large, clean comfortable rooms. Very comfortable bed with clean bedding. Great air con. Tea and coffee facilities and really great touch! Indian style Breakfast brought to room. Had washing done to high standard and very cheap. Staff responsive and friendly. Really good position for shopping and transport.

A pleasant stay

Pros: The room was spacious, with ample furniture, the bed was comfortable, the A/C worked well, as did the TV and wi-fi. The bathroom was even better; large and very clean, with hot water, extractor fan, and lighting options. I was pleased to be given free bottled water, and soap was provided. The complimentary breakfast was exceptionally good, with a choice each morning, and served to my room. The manager was particularly helpful, advising me of a very good nearby eatery, and places of interest, along with directions. I very much appreciated that he made an exception for me regarding laundry, as I have only two sets of clothes. The hotel itself was quiet, as we're the other guests, which is quite unusual. I think it may be that the rooms are soundproof; the door has security locks. The lift/elevator plays music and says 'Have a nice day.'

Cons: The railway line runs parallel to the hotel, as does a busy road, and even closer, a minor road with shops. As a result, personally I found it difficult to sleep, but I am a light sleeper. The room boy walked into the room wearing his sandals, making the bedroom floor wet and dirty.

Pros: Clean rooms, safe and easy to access location and lovely staff. Good breakfast too, served in the comfort of your room.

Clean and cute hotel

Pros: The staff was very helpful and friendly! The beds are very comfortable and the shower was great.

Cons: The hotel itself is located next to a busy road and train track, but we didn't hear much noise luckily.

Pros: It’s location, which is very near to railway station

Pros: The hotel is within walking distance of the Calicut station and the main shopping district. The rooms are spacious and really well-maintained.

Cons: Since it’s right downtown, the rooms can get a bit noisy during rush hour or when the trains go by, but it’s nothing unbearable. If you’re a light sleeper or really sensitive to noise, you might want to bring some earplugs just in case :)

Pros: Great location and attentive staff... Even did my laundry for a small charge...

Pros: Comfortable clean and good location. Good value and nice breakfast

Cons: Tricky to get ceiling fan to run but air conditioning worked very well.
