Cicadas Nature Resort - A Frame cottages

Pros: The resort is nestled in a densely wooded corner of Muttil in Wayanad. It is an ideal getaway for people wanting to disconnect from busy routines and crowds. The access road is steep, so it's best to hire a local cab driver who knows the place. The host, Renjith, is friendly and helpful. He also arranged a cab driver for us to take us to the places we wanted to visit. There are two cottages in the property, and each is separately accessible. The rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated. They have balconies that look out into the nearby woods and far away hills. You can enjoy the chirping of birds and early morning mist from the balcony. Food is provided at the property, though it isn't cooked there. This is an ideal place if you want some solitude, surrounded by nothing but the sounds of nature. Keep up the great work!

Wonderful, peaceful stay with great views

Pros: The room was spotlessly clean with good facilities and an amazing view. The location is so quiet and beautiful, looking out over mountains in the distance - you can see for miles and miles! The staff were friendly and helpful and cooked delicious Keralan food. All food is cooked to order and very fresh. Communication was good and staff attentive without being intrusive. We stayed in the Mountain View room and I would highly recommend a stay.

Cons: The road to the property is steep and the road condition isn't great but manageable by car, taxi and even a tuk tuk could get up there!

Pros: Tucked away in the top, this place is ideal if you want some nature and quiet. Cicadas is located in Muttil South, though transport arrangements can be easily arranged with staff. Everyone was very helpful with my food arrangements and even a neighbour walked with me to the hilltop in the morning. Recommended if you like a slower pace n unique experience in Wayanad.

Cons: Shower ran hot n cold, you just have to fill the bucket (old sch way) so you have right temp water

Pros: First of all the ambience and area the property were situated are so nice, Behavior and approach and the hospitality was so good.

Pros: One of the best relaxed holiday experiences we’ve had. The host, Renjith and staff especially Sachin were exceptional in their service and hospitality! Our pet was also well taken care of.
