Pros: Super nice staff and nature. And the bed is super comfortable.
Cons: The bathroom's wet and the dry area is not separate which is common in India but what I don't like.

Pros: The location is lovely, and the staff are so attentive. It's in the forest and surrounded by vegetation and views which are so relaxing as is their swimming pool. There's also table tennis, Carroom board ( learnt to play) badminton and best fire pit which they lit for us and we could chat & dance with other, all made by the great staff.
Cons: Wish id had longer here, so relaxing

Hidden Gem in the Forest
Pros: The drive through the jungle to reach this property was already worth the trip from Bangalore. But what awaited us at Agraharam was even better. The cottages, the peaceful pool facing the hills, and the silence of the village—it was everything I was hoping for in a getaway. Darshan was always around with a warm smile, helping us with whatever we needed. Sitting on the verandah, watching the mountains change color with the sun, was my favorite memory.

Nature friendly cottages in amazing location
Pros: Stayed here recently and absolutely loved the location—nestled right near Tirunelli Temple, it's perfect for a peaceful getaway. The chalet-style accommodation gives such a cozy and nature-friendly vibe, really sets the mood for a relaxed stay. Darshan, the host, is truly amazing—super warm and helpful throughout. The traditional Nadan breakfast was a highlight, full of local flavors and cooked with love! Dinner, however, was just average—nothing to complain about, but nothing memorable either. One honest suggestion: the bedding and toiletries need a serious upgrade. The place has so much potential, and with just a bit more attention to comfort and quality, it could easily be a next-level property. Overall, a great experience for those who want temple proximity, nature vibes, and genuine hospitality. Would love to come back once they fix the small gaps.

Lovely peaceful location with terrific staff!
Pros: Beautiful peaceful location not too far from Thirenelli Temple so easily accessible by bus from Mananthavady (if using public transport). The staff were exceptional (Suraj, Darshan and Arjun) and were always happy to help out / give advice. Loved our riverside walk with Suraj and Anjum. I’d hoped to do the Brahmagiri trek but discovered it was going to cost 7500 rupees (that’s the rate for foreigners albeit up to 5 people for that price) and as one person, it was too expensive! The food in the restaurant was great and reasonably priced. Need to pre-order (but not a problem for us).
Cons: Our bungalow was ok - adequate but for the price we paid, we’d have expected better quality towels and bedding. For some reason (despite following instructions) we couldn’t get hot water. There were rats in the roof - didn’t see them but could hear them😱. Overall, though, we had a great experience.
