Awesome experience in The Bowlers Chalet

Pros: I stayed at The Bowers Chalet, Ooty, and it was a very good experience. The views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking. The sunrise and sunset are the best and truly memorable. We were also lucky to spot Indian Gaur and rabbits right in front of the hotel, which made the stay feel very close to nature. The caretaker Bala is very good, helpful, and polite. Overall, I am very much satisfied with the stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Ooty

Cons: There was internet issue in my stay. I stayed with my jio net.

Pros: It has a wonderful view, i felt like best view in ooty.We spoted wild animals too.

Pros: Location, service, hospitality, people. Really liked and enjoyed our stay with bbq and camp fire. Sunrise is must experience. A top notch experience for the price paid.

Pros: Bowlers Chalet is a beautiful stay tucked away in the serene hills of Ooty. The location is absolutely awesome – a perfect hill station escape for nature lovers and couples who enjoy peaceful, cozy rooms with great views.

Great place with great food, a little remote from the rest of Ooty.

Pros: The rooms were cozy, as shown in the pictures. The staff were courteous, the service was quick and the food was good and the pricing was great. The free breakfast was sufficient and also tasty. The 360 degree view is stunning.

Cons: The place is a bit dry and dusty unlike the rest of Ooty. It was also very windy due to the location. This has nothing to do with management, but it is due to geography. It is a little far away from any other amenities/activities. You cannot take a stroll in the evening and reach any shops/markets.

Just go there for the scenery, if you can survive the cleanliness.

Cons: Cleanliness - Typical of Tamil Nadu! The plates, glass, dishes, spoon, water jug, etc., were not clean! Even washed utensils had the leftovers from the staff on the handles. The food tray remains outside until our next meal. Birds and ants eat everything and spill everything on the patio. Flies everywhere. The room wall was dirty and even had chewing gum stuck on it! The small table was also dirty and sticky! The power was turned off when we checked in, and we had to call 3-4 times to fix it. The garden was also littered with garbage thrown by the guests, and no effort is taken by the staff to either clean it or discourage the guests from doing it. There was also a food tray with leftover food that had been sitting there for a few days, I think.

Pros: I stayed here like 4 to 5 times already. Location and service is excellent. Breakfast options are tasty they provide extra incase u don't fill up. You can customise the food menu according to your needs. If you want to stay in a remote location with good amenities this is the place. Will be back again.

Cons: Bedsheets to be a little clean, they smell fresh but look a little dirty.
