Pros: An excellent place to spend a day or two in nature - allows you to unwind and relax. Excellent staffs and facilities and I must suggest to take the safari conducted by the property- that to me was the icing on the cake.

Pros: Great facilities in the room. Lot of thought gone into it

Cons: Need to develop an in-house kitchen as the location is isolated

Wonderful resort

Pros: We had a fantastic stay in Tamarind Tree Resort, our room was very very clean and peaceful and quiet. The staff and owner were very kind and helpful. The garden is beautiful and excellently maintained, we loved to sit under the porch at night and listen to the sound of the forest. The location is perfect and the resort is surrounded by forest. There is also a small covered parking for bikes.

Cons: We can't stay longer

Pros: Location is nice. Quiet and our pet dog could roam around freely. Lot of deer come in the night and lot of birds around in the evening. Room and washrooms are very clean.

Cons: Can include breakfast or atleast complementary tea / coffee. Also, we ordered buffet for 2 of us for dinner and meals afternoon. Had taken a small portion of rice and curd for the dog two times. The property charged additional 300 rs. for it which I felt quite high.

Pros: Ambience was too good. And the infra was extraordinary gave it feel like sleeping inside wooden house.

The ambiance, cleanliness, and service were excellent, making our short trip very memorable. Definitely a place we would love to visit again. Highly recommended!

Peace and quiet after tiger spotting, with extremely helpful staff

Pros: Admittedly I ended up being changed to Labdhi resort (under the same management and up the road), but my experience with the staff was lovely. Everything was really clean and food was great, which I'm sure would extend to the other property. I loved the room and the location in the shadow of the mountain was beautiful. I loved the peace and quiet and waking up to goats clip-clopping by my room. Internet, hot water, beds and all were great. The staff were super helpful with helping me to book safaris, taxis and a bus back to Bangalore. It is a bit of a drive from Bandipur, so if planning to visit without a vehicle contact reception to help you organise everything.

Pros: The Tamarind Tree is truly a breath of fresh air. The owner was exceptionally courteous and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The room had a warm, homey feel, and the food was outstanding—authentic, home-cooked meals, with their morning buffet being a highlight. We were thrilled to spot a giant Malabar squirrel, langurs, and deer right outside our room, adding to the charm of this beautiful retreat.

Pros: The mountain view was exceptional. You can also get to see monkeys and deer outside your accommodation . The host was friendly. Good price and hope it doesn't climb up.

Cons: Beds could have been softer, but nothing as such to complain. Overall a good experience..

Awesome Stay at Tamarind made our trip wonderful and memorable

Pros: It's been a wonderful stay for 2 nights with my family and friends at Tamarind property, Masinagudi. Property owner Mr. Kumar and Manager Mr. Manu were very helpful and sweet. The property has a beautiful garden with green lush landscape facing Nilagiri mountain.The property serves only Veg food including breakfast. But, They arrange non veg homemade foods for us from outside at request. We look forward to visiting them again on our next visit.

Cons: They don't have any restaurant at the site currently but will have one in the near future. I request them to include Non veg in their menu then. Also, they don't have good access road to the property which is very narrow and may have high chances of getting stuck in two way traffic.
