Hotel PSY

Hotel very good value, staff he.

Pros: Unforthnately hotel, did not do breakfast and food to suit our taste was difficult to find for any of our meals. We did have a KFC next door which was not bad, but again food very spicy.

Cons: The fact we couldnt get suitable meals.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable hotel. The staff were very helpful.

Cons: If there were provision of room service, it would have been great.

Good Value for Money

Pros: Clean, comfortable, staff great and east to find.

Cons: Light needed replacing over sink mirror. Very minor quibble.

Pros: The staff was helpful and sorted a rickshaw to take us to the train station. The room was comfortable.

Cons: The power kept coming on and off every 5min, even during the night, resetting the electronic appliances which would beep or flsh light. The sheets were stained.

Good place to stay

Pros: Clean, big rooms! Location near good restaurants and really friendly staff.

Comfortable and convenient.

Pros: Clean and well appointed. Staff were very helpful.

Cons: The road it was on was very busy, so not a great place if you were a foot passenger and didn’t have a car.

Great spot for our 1 night stopover.

Pros: This is a modern style hotel. Fine for an overnight stop. Comfortable, clean, quiet. Helpful staff. Somebody there 24/7 ... but you may have to wake them early morning as we did! Don't think there was anybody else there but us. On the map it looks like it's isolated but it's not. Short walk to local restaurant but english there was sparse. Go the dosas. Impressive. Nearby the restaurant one of the best presented bulk dried fruit & nut shops I have ever seen. Photo below.

Cons: More choice of restaurants. We were too tired so went the easy one nearby. No regrets but no choice either.

Great Modern Hotel in Mettu.....enjoyable stay

Pros: Great modern Hotel on the Edge of Mettu. Large rooms , welcoming staff. Great wifi aircon. Very clean. High quality restaurants and shops easy 5min walk away. We were allowed to store our clean bicycles in the room which let us sleep easy.

Cons: No restaurant... but it didnt really matter as a couple of good restaurants very close by. The hotel location on Booking.com is incorrect by about 2km and the locals call the place \

Night before toy train

Pros: Clean, comfortable room with helpful staff who helped us book a tuk tuk to Mettupalayam station for the toy train.

Cons: Fairly far from Mettupalayam and limited restaurants nearby (although staff were very helpful and gave us a hand with ordering food on Zomato).

2nd time staying here!

Pros: Second time booking this hotel as its at the most convenient location near to the railway station, as well as other shops. All day food is available opposite from the hotel is a small little eating joint. The rooms were cleaned time to time, and this time the balcony was boxed up with glass windows, so now able to open the balcony door and enjoy the view without having to worrying about the aircon coolness running out. The staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful as usual. Will definitely not hesitate to book this place again.

Cons: Towels needs a change, quite worn out. Bathroom door handles need some maintenance. The switches in the room need some labeling, as its abit complicated at times. It would also be good if a little breakfast is provided at the hotel, during non-peak periods as well. As I had enjoyed the breakfast the last trip. Overall, a very good, clean, value for money hotel.
