Taj Wayanad Resort & Spa

Pros: The resort, food, staff was excellent. I loved the stay and the property. Thank you Taj

Cons: The pool could have been heated. I surely didn't enjoy pool time.

Pros: The location was perfect to spend few quiet days. The food and services were what you would expect from Taj hotels.

Cons: Sometimes the services at the breakfast was hectic.

Pros: The front desk staff were exceptional in their sphere of work, specially Rhea and Lina, to mention one such, they made sure my late birthday was celebrated again with the pastries provided for that sake Glad buggies were provided as it helps moving around the terrain.....the lush greenery inside and surrounding the property are well maintained which was so good and lastly the housekeeping too were too good in providing and facilitating our requests

Cons: Mainly for the cost of stay and keeping in view that other eateries are further away from property lunch/dinner should come along the package it saves us time and money. Secondly, having a water body close enough but have no access to it was very disappointing Also activity like bamboo rafting, boat rides are all hyped and has no much fun, so not recommended

Great long weekend break — would come again!

Pros: Great staff. Nice spa - good treatments and also options for couples. Bonus of complementary yoga very morning (thanks Vikram!). Nice cocktails by the pool and Southern Spice restaurant was good. We had a lake view Vila - so you can have a bath looking out on the lake —- all in all great stay. Bonus was trekking - they have an arrangement with a local company with nice guides - the downside was the very high park fees but in end worth it. Recommended.

Excellent stay at a great property

Pros: Excellent property, great facilities including a spa centre. Several restaurants, all superb. very good breakfast, great choice, great location and good service.

Cons: The room was very big but a bit unpractically designed. We would have preferred a small villa with two separate bedrooms with a door between that is possible to close and also two bathrooms.

Don’t serve Kerala food in morning breakfast had to ask for it, was served the next day.

Pros: Great property. Great location. The southern restaurant staff were Good.

Cons: The restaurant staff in the Multi cuisine restaurant were arrogant. Including the Chef. Need training to handle customers. Serve half cooked pasta, then they try to argue, saying that is how it is cooked. Don’t even have the courtesy to serve food in a fine dining restaurant.

The best of hospitality

Pros: There is nothing not to like. Everything was exceptional especially the staff. Right from the buggy drivers, waiters, chef... everyone makes the stay at Taj an excellent experience. Special thanks goes to Restaurant manager, Mr. Sreejith, main chef Mr Raj mohan, all the waiters and house keeping staff. They go above and beyond expectations. Mr. Karuppaya from front office also made it exceptional. Kudos to Taj staff for doing an excellent job and going beyond expectations.

We wanted a break from the humdrum of everyday life, and we got that...and more!

Pros: The view from the room was mind-blowing and the pocket garden was the icing on the cake!

Cons: There was nothing I did not like, but if i were to nitpick I would say some more kid-friendly menu options and portion sizes would be great.
