Ben's Villa Kannur !

Fabulous place to stay

Pros: We had a very relaxing stay at Ben's Villa. The place was absolutely spotlessly clean - in fact the cleanest place we have stayed in during all our travels in India. The bathroom was huge and nicely fitted out and had good hot water. Our room was a very good size with comfortable bed, good air conditioning and had it's own private balcony. The breakfast was really tasty and plentiful. We were made very welcome and would definitely recommend this accommodation. A big thank you to Ben and his family for making our stay so pleasant.

Pros: Amazing location in the middle of the jungle, nice rooms with all the confort. We lived the breakfast cooked from Ben’s mum, very local and delicious!!

Excellent!

Pros: We had a pleasant stay in this 2 bedroom unit - accomodation is 2 bedrooms inside the villa with attached bathrooms in upper level. The villa is nicely maintained and there were multiple sitting spaces in balcony with benches/chairs; we could enjoy dinner at night tea/breakfast in the morning. Owner can provide homely food if you could pre-order. Also, Swiggy delivers in this address. Villa is not exclusive to guest, there was an additional bedroom upstairs occupied by an unknown guest and owner was living downstairs. This did not affect our stay in anyway, we could stay in peace in our bedrooms and also enjoy well furnished common balcony area. Thanks to Ben, her Mom and family.

Cons: Beds were supportive and firm but mattress/sheets made it very warm and uneasy for us to sleep with just fan on. They have provisioned well maintained AC, so we switched AC on the next night and it felt better.

The stay was pleasant and the staff was pleasant. Ben wife arranged bfast, dinner and autos also

Pros: The breakfast was home made of parrotta and peas. It was delicious The room was clean and neat.

Cons: As we travelled from Kannur Railway station to Bens villa, which is at Kanhirode, the location is a bit interior and the Auto driver charged us return. We booked Bens villa as it was near to CR auditorium for marriage function. If you are travelling by your own car, then no problem.

Pros: I liked the ambience and hospitality of the place we stayed in .We enjoyed the stay to maximum and it was very refreshing and energising one. We had a great time to spend together with family and thankyou for making our stay comfortable.

Honest review on Ben's Villa

Pros: I've actually booked 4 rooms and the AC wasn't working on the first day in one of the rooms where I stayed and later the problem got sorted out. Hot water issue - the only source to get hot water was from the solar facility. The day we went was not sunny so we couldn't get the hot water on that day which was a disappointing factor. Suggestion - They can have an alternate option as either electric or gas geyser as a back-up. Location - another important thing which I would like to highlight here is about the property location which is little inside from the main road. Property ambience - excellent and worthy. Breakfast at the property - ₹90 for two dosa and curry which I felt quite expensive because we will get unlimited kerala meals outside in the town for ₹50/60 max.

Pros: comfortable room in a lively family home. Benny has been extremely helpful in getting food delivery, breakfast and rickshaw service to the airport and meet my needs in those respects.
