Amazing - peace and calmness

Pros: The stay was really great and peaceful and loved the calmness around this property. Thanks to the staff(sorry forgot the name) as he was really and thanks to owner for complimentry breakfast and tea. The beach is walkable distance from this property.

Cons: Nothing as such. Just the suggestion that garden can be better with all different flowers and plants.

Relaxation, location and food

Pros: Lovely place a few minutes walk from the beautiful undeveloped beach. Expect a restful stay, good service and wonderful large portions of food on a big welcoming verandah. Thanks alot to Sanjeev and his team.

Come here if you desire calm, tranquility and excellent food.

Pros: It is a little tricky to find at the end of a small maze of roads and tracks - and that is why it is absolutely one of the top places to stay if you like getting away from it all. The view from the beautiful communal terrace out into the grove of coconut palms and trees, with the promise of the Arabian Sea just beyond that is wonderful. Excellent owner who trusts his lovely staff to get on well with the tasks. Whether guiding that first time route down to the beautiful Thottada beach; serving food or souring a bottle of chilled soda water and lemons.

Lovely Beach / Forest Homestay

Pros: Everything. Sajeev and his wife are outstanding hosts in every sense of the word. The location, in a forest 5 minutes walk from a beautiful and uncrowded beach and 15 minutes from a village with shops is ideal. The room was airy, large enough and comfortable. Hot water and excellent food. A most enjoyable visit.

Everything perfect

Pros: Ocean Green was without any doubts the best accomodation I had in Kerala so far. Owner and staff were always trying to accomodate my needs and they were all the time full of kindness. Food was extremely tasty and price very good for the quantity. The homestay is 5 minutes walking from a quiet and very clean beach and my room was very big and super clean. I will definitely come back if I Would visit Kannur in the future.

Cons: Only cons is that if you like to be independent from tuk tuk and near the city center the homestay is a bit far but for me it was perfect since I wanted to be far from it.

Pros: very nice staff, excellent food, clean rooms, very quiet

Cons: The way to the the beach is THROUGH the backwater/you will get wet. We preferred the longer route (15 min walk). Beach is empty, zero facilities/restaurants.

Pros: A great place to chill for a few days. Not far from Kannur.The food was excellent

Pros: I had a great, peaceful stay at Ocean Green. The food is very good and the room was big and very clean. The short walk to the beach through the palm grove and over the backwater bridge is nice too.

Pros: Als je van rust houdt is dit fantastisch. Je wordt warm onthaald door de vriendelijke eigenaren. Als je om je heen kijkt bevind je je tussen de bomen, en dat terwijl je eigenlijk in de grote stad bevind. Ook het ontbijt/ avondeten is erg lekker, avondeten kost een kleine vergoeding.

Cons: Niets, was heel goed!

Ein echter Geheimtipp

Pros: Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Zimmer und Bad waren größer als erwartet. Es gab sehr leckeres hausgemachtes Essen. Am tollsten war der warme weiche einsame Strand samt warmer weicher Wellen nur wenige Meter vom Haus entfernt.

Cons: Es war ein wenig schade, dass es ohne eigenes Auto nicht möglich war, zügig ein Café oder veg-Restaurant zu erreichen.
