Absolute highlight of our trip!

Pros: We traveled around southern india for 2 weeks, and this place was absolutely fabulous! The landscape and the area were incredibly beautiful, just breathtaking! Valparai is so much more unspoiled and magical than Ooty We had an amazing colorful walk in the morning looking at birds, animal traces and the little local temple nested in the the tea fields. Do not miss the drive to the stream, a magical place - and we were lucky to see a wild elephant strolling in the fields on our way. We unfortunately did not arrive in time for an evening walk to see leopards etc - so wish we had had more time at Sinna Dorai! Next time we will both arrive much earlier in the day, and stay for an extra day. Finally, the kindness of the staff made our stay very special - we had some logistics problems and they were so helpful in calling around and helping to get everything fixed. A warm recommendation from us - we would love to return in the future!
