Rheinberg Town Haus

Pros: I loved quiet clean setting. It was a joy to sit among birds and a frog, looking out amid flowers and trees. My room was one of best and cleaned to a very high standard. The managing caretaker helped me in every way and needs a reward and promotion.

Cons: The hill climb but got a tuk tuk

Pros: Loved that it really was quiet het views of town and mountain area. The beautiful garden was lovingly tended. The man managing it is just so kind and helpful and my room was beautifully cleaned twice during my stay. It is on a small hill but you have tuk tuk if need be. The manager offerrd to bring me some provisions too. Would always come back here. One of best places ever stayed in India.

Great place. Kapil is a cool guy. Certainly recommend. I'd do it again.

Pros: Rhrinberg Town Haus is set in a pretty garden above Munnar, away from the busy centre but easy to walk into. Rooms are basic but comfortable, and give excellent value for the price. Kapil, the manager, is very helpful. As well as looking after the accommodation he carried the bags up and down the steep pathway, and he arranges taxis for tours in the neighbourhood and on departure.

Cons: The house is up a steep pathway which is not accessible by car. Some.tuktuks are willing to try but not all. It's not difficult to walk if you are young and fit, but harder if not.

Very Good

Pros: Lovely kind owner, very helpful. The room was basic but clean. There was a kettle, big plus, no a/c but it wasn’t needed. The property is on top of a very steep hill and the only way up is to walk so if you have mobility issues it might not suit. It was a fantastic view from the top tho. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and the markets

A nice little escape

Pros: The location is a bit out of the city walking 4 min distance but it created a safe heaven. I really liked the energy of the place. The rooms are clean and big enough. The place has a very cute nice garden.

Peaceful location over looking Munnar.

Pros: Excellent location for sunrise and sunset. Lovely enclosed space with quiet surroundings. Friendly owners and staff.

Cons: It’s a steep walk to the property. Fine for me but you should be aware.

Pros: It is above the city so very calm and nature surrounded place. The host is very kind and ready to help.

Pros: Beautiful garden, a very nice spot in Munnar far away from the traffic jam.

Pros: A nice and quiet location above Munnar, but in the same time really close to the market and food places, beautiful front garden, lovely and helpful host, clean and spacious rooms, wifi worked well, hot water and card payment available.
