Perfect stay in beautiful location

Pros: Ajay is the perfect host and runs the nicest hotel we’ve stayed at in India in fact almost anywhere! He blends hospitality with all the trimmings of luxury and privacy. The food the pool the room and the public areas are all very nice and the whole establishment is set within a plantation with lots of lovely walks and chance to enjoy the abundant nature.

Cons: That we had to leave.

Pros: The property is huge, with lots of walking trails and places to explore. There are different types of accommodation. We stayed in the garden rooms and we loved them! Large rooms and bathrooms. The verandah is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of tea and read. The staff and facilities were wonderful. The food is very home style and wholesome. However, if you are staying for a few days, you might want to check out other local Options for variety. We will come back next time for sure!

Pros: I loved everything from the beautiful treehouse to the well kept property and buildings, the amazing food, the second to none service and the magical out of the way location. It’s the best place we have stayed in India.

Cons: Nothing. The leeches added a sense of adventure and the salt packs we were provided with for our monsoon walk - it was inevitable we would catch a few - got rid of them in seconds. And the monkeys were curious but we were well advised to keep doors closed to our tree house and they stayed away.

Just like the name - TRANQUIL

Pros: Remote, laid back place to chill. Peaceful and quiet with only the sound of nature to keep you company. Pool is well kept and not heavily chlorinated. The property was quite empty when we went and so we had the entire place to ourselves. The hosts were welcoming and nice. Large bathrooms and good beds!

Cons: The roads leading up to the resort may pose challenge to smaller cars esp in rains. The dining area sometimes had smoke smell - may be someone smoking from the staff side. Dinner buffet which was extra cost had limited options but complimentary breakfast was great

Best location in Wayanad

Pros: Stunning location with lots of trails to walk within the property. Beautiful nature, many birds. The food was delicious. We asked for veggie, which was no problem. Very friendly staff. We could have stayed another week!

Pros: Fabulous walks throughout the 400 acre estate, teeming with wonderful birdlife. Tranquil team could not have been more helpful Great coffee!
