Lovely stay in peaceful location with walks and the backwater to enjoy

Pros: Lovely location, very helpful Nr friendly staff, large rooms and balcony, great food . Loved the pool and kayaking

Cons: Could do with a little more maintenance around the property

It was a wonderful and memorable experience.

Pros: All the meals were excellent. Lots of variety and everything was fresh. It was nice to be in nature and the sunsets over the water will remain some of my favourite memories. The service from all the staff is great and I would recommend the hotel to others.

Cons: I was disappointed that the Safari was not available however this is not the fault of the hotel. However it would have been good to have been aware before booking.

Pros: The location and views of the reservoir were fantastic. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed being shown the garden and all the trees that had been planted on the estate. The boat trip to the temple was good and made very interesting by our guide. In

Beautiful and tranquil place most of the time.

Pros: Very beautiful location, calm and peaceful with wonderful views over the lake. Birdsong in the trees and water fowl along the shore to watch. Tranquility.

Cons: Sadly the tranquility was shattered on our last night when a visiting group of guests had dinner with loud music and very loud voices on the lake shore just under our balcony and window. The noise continued until past midnight. Staff did not intervene to ask these guests to quieten down.

Best place for a safari

Pros: Excellent lodge, next to the lake. Very quiet, well maintained. The restaurant is excellent, with fresh and their own organic vegetables!

The property location is great. The safaris run from the JLR property next door. Great stay!

Pros: All the meals were included, which was a good thing because there is no place in the vicinity for food.

Cons: The property is completely dependent on the Jungle Lodges and Resorts (JLR) for the safaris, which are the main reason to visit this property. We managed to get a booking for both the boat as well as the jeep safari as it was off season. However, in season it may be difficult to get. Best time to visit this property is in the first quarter of the year.

Enjoyable stay

Pros: The facilities were very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Food was excellent. Staff were pleasant and friendly

Cons: When I wanted to pay for the accommodation I was told that they don’t accept credit cards and it has to be only bank transfer. I found this odd. Please pass this to the property so that they can change their policy
