A Perfect Stay in Gokulam — Comfort, Location & Exceptional Staff

Pros: I had a wonderful experience staying here in Gokulam, Mysore. I stayed for nearly a month and truly loved the place. The hotel is very new and the rooms have everything you need. Everything was spotless — the cleaning was excellent throughout my stay. The location is perfect, with many lovely cafés and restaurants nearby, and plenty of great yoga shalas within walking distance. What really made the difference, though, was the staff. From the front desk team to the housekeeping staff, the security guard at the door, and the manager — everyone was always helpful, kind, and smiling. They made me feel very welcome and at home. I recommended this hotel to six other people who came for a workshop, and they were all very pleased as well. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

Pros: Its right by a lot of organic cafes with a few yoga centres around. Sapa bakery is closeby. It’s a safe area and lovely to walk about this part of town. The staff were so helpful, bringing is dinner to our rooms from their cafe (Myka). The room was clean and well maintained. All the amenities were in perfect working order. Our host Chethan was really helpful and friendly. Overall, our stay was absolutely comfortable. I’ll be visiting again and highly recommend this place.

Comfy stay in chic new hotel

Pros: Nice new facilities - comfy bed, good shower, decent cafe downstairs. Well located in Gokulum. Friendly staff at the front desk.

Cons: It’s on a busy road so gets a bit noisy but quietens down at night

Pros: The best location in Gokulam. Incredibly clean rooms and facilities (felt like a 5 star hotel) and helpful friendly staff. Fresh water delivered daily. The most comfortable mattresses, modern furniture and facilities. Spacious room and balconies and TV's that actually work. Great storage space and a light clean energy in the rooms.

Cons: Bathrooms could do with better maintenance but still better than 90% of Indian bathrooms!

Pros: Best location possible. Whole place was new. Staff was extremely nice and always helpful. We were also able to check out later (1pm) which was very convenient for us. Room had everything we needed.

Cons: It was clean, but we had a bigger yellow stain on the white bedsheets and some hair on the floor when checking in. Was ok for us though and still felt okayish clean. The bathroom often smelled like food as we think it was right over the kitchen of the cafe downstairs. Also not too bad though. And our room was facing a wall of the neighboring house, so not so much light. Again also didn’t bother us too much. We were staying in the standard room, the other rooms we think have a better view. So there are a few minor things that could be improved, but we would definitely and 100% recommend.

Pros: I gave all five starts to the hotel and next time visiting will definitely stay with them again. Location is unbeatable right in the middle of the area and 1 minute walk literally to nearby Shala. Nice cafes are just downstairs. Room is sparkling clean, bed provides the right support and balance not too hard or soft, just comfortable, linens bath towels etc. all comfortable. Balcony for me to watch the hustling life of the street and read is a plus. Staff are all very attentive, helpful and professional made me feel welcomed and very safe staying there. Chethan works hard and has the best customer service attitude and smile one can ever hope for. Shashank also knowledgeable and happy to help whenever I’ve asked. I’d like to say a big thanks to all the staff members but don’t know the rest of their names. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Mysore.

SOFT LUXURY IN THE HEART OF YOGATOWN

Pros: I’ve been staying here for 10 days and it was the most beautiful stay. The rooms are clean, quiet and modern, with a comfy mattress. Hotel is newly built just months ago. The staff is incredibly friendly and supportive. The location is perfect for yoga, cafés and walking, streets are easy to cross and as Gokulam lives slower then elsewhere. I will definitely return 💕 I LOVE YOU GUYS! Gokulam is the global center of Mysore Asthanga Yoga. Try it out there‘s Yoga Shalas everywhere.
