Comfortable accommodation in Munnar

Pros: Comfortable, clean rooms. A very friendly and helpful host.

Cons: I'd rather not have the ambient music in the garden and breakfast room.

Pros: I am extremely pleased with both the services and the hospitality. This stands out as one of the finest stays in Munnar, offering a truly homely atmosphere. Special commendation goes to Mr. Baiju for being an exceptional host.

Great place to stay away from the frenetic centre of Munnar.

Pros: Beautiful home stay. Our host Baiju and his wife were excellent hosts. Breakfast each day was good and their home cooked evening meals were delicious.

Cons: Last night marred by very loud music going beyond 10pm - however we were offered an apology.

Pros: This hotel has a quirky style. The management and staff were exceptional: polite and helpful. Rooms extremely clean, spacious and good attention to detail. Outside seating area for food and drinks, away from the noise of the town.

Cons: Some disruption from building work

Pros: This was the best accommodation we have stayed at during our trip to India. Horst and his team were incredibly kind, welcoming, and truly caring. When my boyfriend had some stomach problems, they prepared fresh ginger tea for him several times and checked on him regularly. We felt genuinely looked after. They also helped us with activity recommendations around Munnar, and every staff member was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, modern, and beautifully maintained. The whole property is arranged with so much love and attention to detail – you can really feel the warmth of the place. We are very grateful for this wonderful stay and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Munnar.

Pros: S&B Dreams House is a place that truly stands out from the crowd. The exterior styling—designed to look like a cave carved into the rock—is fantastic and gives the place a unique, magical atmosphere. Why we loved it: The Hosts: The brothers who run the place are amazing. Baiju was incredibly helpful, recommending and arranging several fun activities for us during our stay. Location: You couldn't ask for a better spot. It’s literally just a few steps away from the center of Munnar, yet it feels like its own private world. The Food: The kitchen serves excellent meals; we were very impressed by the quality and flavor. The combination of the unique design, great hospitality, and perfect location makes this a 10/10 stay. We already know we want to come back!

Breathtaking location, lovely staffs and comfortable stay.

Pros: Perfect location. Amazing breakfast. I requested for a downstair room due to my mother’s knees and they accommodated that. So thank you very much. The view was amazing.

Cons: When we entered the room it was a bit chilly because of the weather. If there was heating facilities it would have been nice but that would not undermine our stay as we enjoyed our stay very much.

Carefully designed guesthouse with extraordinarily kind and helpful staff

Pros: A wonderful place close to the town centre. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. Definitely a highlight of my trip. Great breakfast and delicious dinner.

Fantastical luxury cave bedroom!

Pros: My rooms were both absolutely immaculate and fantastically decorated with three dimensional plaster trees, flowers, and cave features! It was really imaginative and nicely surreal. I loved it. The mattress was very comfortable and the communal areas very pleasant. The view from the balcony was lovely and the singing from the church next door was nice. What really made the place, though, were the staff. The two men on reception were so helpful and friendly. I organised my own activities but they helped with booking bus tickets, tuk ruks etc. I would love to go back one day.

Cons: The first room I was allocated didn't have a window. I think they only have one with no window, so I was unlucky. If windows are important to you then it's probably best to check that out before you arrive. There was a bit of building noise, but I expect that will be finished soon, and it was just during the day.
