Memorable stay at Mahout Resort

Pros: Nice resort. Good room and facilities.. Staff were very nice. Did all the work with a smile. Good food also. Adjacent waterfall is a bonus. On the whole a very good memorable experience. Suggestions: provide mosquito net protection to windows. Provide cushions to cane furniture, as sharp end's are hurting and may tear the clothes. Also some spoken English training for staff will help in communication. Road from parking place to resort needs improvement. I don't know who is responsible for it.

A fantastic place for us to stay connected with nature.

Pros: The Staff made us comfortable with the surroundings and helped us navigate the tourist attractions around that place. And the food served every day was phenomenal, that anyone tasted it would come back to the resort just for it. Also to mention, there is cute doggie there named Charlie (Sometimes they call it lily too).

Cons: The room service could hav been better, since they didn't come there selves until v asked to clean and change the bedsheets

Pros: Oh my God!! Stay. This resort definitely exceeded my expectation. Amazing jungle view, literally this stay is amidst the jungle with all in its beauty. this property have private Waterfall so neat and amazing, we enjoyed it alot. Also, this property offers jungle safari and guide for Chembra peak trek. food is okay. Authentic Kerala brakfast : Amazing. Amazing service, amazing staff. Loved my 3 days stay. Note: to reach property there is 3 km long off road stretch. If 4X4 car or good experience of off roading then only drive till resort. Otherwise parking is there before this 3 km off-road and resort will send jeep for pick-up.

Pros: Staff were exceptional. Helped us and were ready all the time. Place is really good, contact the staff before you reach there, because it's better to take their jeep to the resort, unless you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, road to the resort is not tarred. There's a small waterfall 50 meters away from the resort and it's great. Overall won't forget this place, will be visiting again.

Great waterfall experience and beautiful resort space

Pros: The local food prepared by them was delicious. The fried fish prepared was fresh and delicious. Also Puttu with curry was my favourite food item. They had games in the resort for passing time especially enjoyed playing table tennis with my partner in the evening time.

Cons: When you pay 10k per night for a place you somehow end up expecting better amenities for bathroom however since this was between jungle we understand the limitations for the place.
