Estate Stay - Riverside Coffee

Pleasant stay!

Pros: We had a wonderful and very pleasant stay at Riverside Stay in Coorg. The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature and the soothing sound of the river flowing nearby makes it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hospitality of the staff was excellent—they were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The peaceful environment and scenic views made our experience truly memorable. If you are looking for a calm getaway in Coorg away from the busy city life, Riverside Stay is definitely a great choice. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy nature, fresh air, and a relaxing atmosphere.

Water Lilies in the Palm and Coffee Jungle

Pros: It's a working coffee estate. All the staff are most kind and courteous. Adi gave us the most expert estate tour one could wish for. Chandan brewed us probably the best coffee we have ever had. Jeena ran everything so professionally and found us an outstation taxi at very short notice. The lily ponds are divine. We walked the back roads well outside the estate, walked by the Kaveri river and met and talked to many local people, an unforgettable experience. It was not easy to stop eating breakfast! Different dishes every day, and of course with that fabulous coffee...

Cons: It's a working estate. The cottages are acoustically transparent. You will sometimes hear estate machinery or the neighbours or the State Highway. But at night the silence is uncanny and rare. We would have liked a table, both inside and on the patio. Some sort of sofa seat inside also. There is no fridge, but then, there are sometimes lengthy power cuts. We really needed better and stronger lighting, especially as bedside lights.

Good stay, could be excellent if attention to details are taken care

Pros: Clean and a Calm place. Secluded location, good privacy. Coffee plantation tour was great. Enjoyed it.. Food taste was good.. Coffee taste was excellent.

Cons: Missing attention to small details.. Attention to details could improve the experience by a lot. Would expect it for the value of money. Few are - I understand RO water is available, but water bottles could be available. \

Fantastic choice to relax and completely detach yourself from the outside world.

Pros: This place is outstanding. This a legacy coffee estate which is secluded and tranquil. Each individual house has a wonderful view of the surrounding coffee estate as well as lush paddy. The ambience of the chirping of the birds in the morning is top notch. It is imprtant one gets up early to make the best of this place. There is an estate coffee tour which lead by Mr Aditya which was absolute treat. The food in the cafe is phenomenal. I would recommend to go for the Kodagu cuisine. Virajpet and Dubare Elephant Camp are about half an hour away. Tala Kaveri is out 2 hours up North past Madikeri. If you are driving from Bengaluru through Mysuru, you will pass beautiful part of the Nagarhole Tiger Reserve to get to Riverside Coffee Stay. There is an old world charm to this place that is missing from other places I been to in Kodagu. My Mother and I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful place and look forward visiting again.

Cons: Nothing I can think to be honest. Ms. Jenna, Aditya, Abhishek and Hemanth were all outstanding. Mr. Rishwin and his father Mr. Poovayya were outstandingly kind.

Pros: A hidden gem set amidst a beautiful coffee plantation. The property is clean, serene, and homely, with a unique charm. Staff are courteous and always welcoming, special thanks to Ms. Jeena for her attention to detail, fixing a couple of minor issues immediately & therefore she made a huge difference to our stay. The café serves delicious food with a variety of options. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy nature and comfort.

Must visit and also something you'll keep going back for.

Pros: they customize the breakfast as per your requirement which is great.

Pros: Experience was truly exceptional. Nestled amidst coffee plantation, the property offers a great comfort, making it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The accommodation was clean, thoughtfully designed, and well-maintained, with every amenity provided for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sound of birds/insects and the view of Lilly pond & lush greenery was a refreshing experience. Akshay was welcoming, responsive, and ensured that every aspect of our stay was smooth and enjoyable. The serene ambiance, coupled with the thoughtful hospitality, made this a truly memorable getaway. I would highly recommend the riverside coffee to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat.

Cons: Hot water was not available in the morning. I felt for this location where most of the months are cold, they should install a geyser. But I personally felt bathing in cold water also rejuvenate our mind. Again it depends on the individuals preference
