Spice Garden Farm house

A gorgeous stay in the middle of nature!

Pros: Beautiful house set in the middle of nature. We booked a larger room to have some more space and it was very big with a huge terrace which we loved. The farm itself was full of different fruit trees and plants and Santhosh was kind to show us around and explain what was what. He also organised a tuktuk tour in the forest for half a day which we really enjoyed. He let us know about a local festival happening in a town nearby and even drove us back after. Breakfast was great, and so was dinner which we asked for on the last evening. We booked this place to experience the peace and nature in Kerala and this is exactly what we got, would 100% reccommend!

Cons: The shower in our bathroom didn't have hot water connected, so in order to use the hot water, we needed to use a bucket and a jug to shower. Pillow cases were not very soft.

Pros: Wonderful homestay experience! The host was very kind and welcoming. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The home-cooked food was fresh and delicious. Felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended!

Amazing

Pros: It's was a perfect stay on this beautiful homestay lost in the middle of the plantations. The area, with very friendly people, is amazing with coffee, cardomome,peper,rubber,....plantations and a lot of flowers. The food was very delicious with a lot differents meals. The owner and his wife took great care of us and he gave us good advice for visiting the region . The evening discussions on the terrace with Kumar and his wife were very interesting, and we learned a lot about the plantations, the region, and India in general. And the icing on the cake: it's the morning walk with Kumar, who shows us and explains everything we want to know about plants and spices. Don't miss this place

Magnificent farm stay, highly recommend

Pros: Beautifully tranquil, we loved having the veranda to ourselves and spending the evening sat sheltered from the receding monsoon storms was magnificent. The room was a great size and was beautifully furnished. Thank you for your magnificent hospitality and the early morning tour of the farm. It was magical. We will be back.

Cons: Lack of breakfast options, it's easy enough to stock up before travelling out, though, which we will do next time.

The surroundings are calm and scenic, perfect for a relaxing break amidst nature. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the best part was the delicious home-cooked food made with local ingredients — simple, fresh, and full of authentic Kerala flavor. Every meal felt like eating at home. Overall, it was a peaceful and heartwarming experience — great hospitality, great food, and a true taste of Wayanad’s charm. Highly recommended

Pros: We had such a wonderful stay! The place was cozy, well-kept, and surrounded by nature, away from the chaos and noise of the city. The peaceful atmosphere and warm hospitality made us feel at home, and the delicious home-cooked food added to the experience. A truly memorable getaway we’d love to return to!!

A stay that actually felt like home!

Pros: Tbh, I write reviews where I genuinely feel well hosted with an amazing experience and surely, the stay at Spice Garden was one of them. Located in the midst of greenery of Coconut and rubber trees, this is actually a stay that feels like home. Santosh and his wife are amazing hosts, from clean rooms to amazing authentic kerala meals, they leave no stone unturned in hospitality. I would definitely recommend Spice Garden Farmhouse and plan to visit again very soon. P.S. The indoor games plus the badminton adds to even a better time at the stay.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike.

Pros: One of the best places we stayed in Kerala, a hidden gem in the nature, an amazing family that make you feel at home, a few minutes walking to a local village and to the main town (or 5 mins tuk tuk ride), a dreamy spice garden in the jungle right in the backyard, big and super clean room. Definitly the place to stay if you come in Wayanad/Sulthan Bathery area.

Beautiful stay in peaceful spot in the hills of North Kerala, with very friendly and helpful hosts :)

Pros: Everything was great. Really enjoyed our stay here, it a beautiful location, very peaceful and was good to meet Santhosh and learn more about the local area. The food was delicious and everything was taken care of very well. Highly recommend.

Frienday

Pros: The room is spectacular the balcony is amazing, everything I could . The food is delicious home cooked fresh and orgsnic. The surroundings are beautiful the staff are wonderful

Cons: Santosh helped me organise a day trip, and I said I wanted to see wild animals, I was told that the wayanard national park was good to go too but the elephant are chained around the leg. Very unhappy to see this. Appart from that the day was amazing. I have nothing else to complain about this place Is just what I need ed
