Pros: The location and calm environment were so nice for a weekend escape. Views and climate was good. Room was so spacious than we expected and super cozy.

Family at Farm Stay Ooty

Pros: We had our family trip to Wild and Free Farm Stay. Tea plantations and vegetable farms surrounding this place is beautiful nature experience to my kids and family. And the fresh air brings the Birds song and nature rhythms. We got tasty home made food with campfire for dinner with package price. Reaching the place 7 km from city and travel 1 km forest road from main road ... Reach before 9 pm to enjoy the campfire & dinner...

Pros: I have travelled to many places across Tamil Nadu and other states, but this place truly stole my heart. My stay at Wild and Free Stay, Ooty was absolutely stunning — peaceful, natural, and full of charm. Surrounded by forest and misty hills, it felt like living in a dream. The calm atmosphere, fresh air, and birdsong made every moment special and relaxing. The farm-style experience added so much warmth — organic, home-cooked meals that were both delicious and healthy, served with genuine care. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel like part of their family. It’s a perfect getaway for anyone who loves nature, good food, and a quiet, meaningful lifestyle. I’ve stayed in many beautiful places, but Wild and Free Stay will always remain one of my favorites — a place that truly touches the soul. 🌿💚

Great for peaceful family staycation

Pros: Warm hospitality, fresh home-cooked meals, and a serene tea garden view — Wild and Free Farm Stay gave us a cozy, care-filled Ooty experience. FYI we stayed in another farm home which is located down to the farm home shown in the online picture

Short stay.

Pros: The Ambience is magnificent. The Rooms where neat. The songs of the Birds the views are stunning. Vegetable farming and fresh Fruits are the best. Plenty of areas for trucking.

Cons: The roads. Make sure tht u have a Genartor to support when no electricity is Available. Room heater is a need. Plse make the arrival Area Neat and Clean.

Pros: Excellent hospitality during my recent stay at Wild and Free Farm Stay. The entire experience was smooth, comfortable and truly enjoyable. The staff was courteous, attentive, and always ready to help, which made a big difference in my stay. The cleanliness of the room, the quality of the food, and the overall ambience all contributed to a memorable experience. I truly appreciate the effort put into making guests feel welcome and well taken care of.

Cons: None, Before 5:00PM would be a ideal check in time, don't reach beyond that. Please make a note need to drive one and half kilometre through off-road.
