Heights Farm Stay - Coffee Estate Stay

We spent one night at this reasonably priced Homestay in the middle of a coffee plantation

Pros: The situation on a small coffee plantation. The manager Vinod was very helpful and gave us an informative tour of the plantation.

Lovely place to immerse in the forest

Pros: Loved the location set amongst the coffee plantation. The staff are very friendly and always available. The breakfast was delicious - our best in India. And finally - a decent coffee. The tour is also very good

Cons: Minor details - but the rooms are a bit stark and could do with lower wattage lights. And you have to order lunch and dinner on an App

Pros: Most beautiful landscape, near to Madikeri, absolutely tranquil, very well kept working coffee plantation. Most agreeable stay due to Vinod, the farm manager, and his whole family. He explains Most interesting everything about Coffee growing. Utmost hospitality. Very nice Indian breakfast. Food for lunch and dinner can be ordered and will be delivered.

Cons: Nothing. Perhaps only one thing: The bed is quite hard.

Pros: The stay was bang in the middle of a coffee estate. Very calm place. Ideal to relax and unwind. Nights are super cold and mornings are dreamy. You're woken up by the sounds of a variety of birds, Grey Hornbills, Parakeets. Breakfast is sumptuous. You don't need to have lunch. The staff are super courteous. Quick to attend to your needs. Mr.Vinod and his staff rock.

Cons: The beds can be better.

Pros: Nice remote location in the middle of nature. Good to calm down and very attentive staff that helped with organising our days. Breakfast was good (just different to what our European tastes are used to) and they also provided a tasty dinner one night. Otherwise one can easily order food via swiggy there.

Pros: The farm house was right in the middle of the coffee plantation. The breakfast was delicious. Including the filter coffee. The scenery around the farm house was very romantic with the mist all around.
