Wonderful stay

Pros: Our stay at Haris Farm House was wonderful. The place is peaceful, surrounded by greenery, and perfect for a relaxing break. The host Miraj is really friendly and went out of his way to help us plan our itinerary and explore the best of Kannur. His local suggestions made the trip far more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, authentic stay

Pros: The rooms are well maintained and clean. Its a secluded property away from the beach however you can walk towards another property which they own which is next to the beach. The owners of the property are extremely friendly and helpful.

We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay at Haris Farm House and would highly recommend it!

Pros: The hosts and staff at Haris farm house were wonderful. Everyone was so attentive and helpful yet the atmosphere was still relaxed and friendly. The location of the beach house was fabulous, right on the sea front with great views and with steps down to the beach. We were accommodated in the farm house which was a very attractive old family home just down the road. All the meals were served back at the beach house on the spacious veranda. The food was excellent because Haris is a gardener and a keen chef. He has pride in fresh local produce and is delighted to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with his guests. He was generous with his time and even took us and two other guests for a trip to Kannur fish market.

Cons: It would have been nice to have a view from our bedroom but we couldn't really open our windows because of mosquitos. More windows protected with mosquito mesh would have allowed us to keep the air con off and have a through-breeze from the garden. This was however only a very minor observation. We had the garden view from the farm house veranda and could of course enjoy stunning sea views from the beach house.

Pros: We had such a lovely stay at Mr. Haris’ farmhouse. That ocean view alone is worth the trip — sitting there with a coffee and just staring out at the water felt like a proper reset. It’s one of those views that doesn’t get old. The beaches nearby were spotless and quiet, which made it even better. No chaos, no mess — just clean sand and sea. Breakfast was honestly a highlight. Super delicious, generous, and (big win for us) plenty of vegan options without us even having to make a big deal about it. That kind of thoughtfulness goes a long way. But what really makes this place special is Mr. Haris himself. The personal attention he gives every guest is remarkable — you can tell this isn’t just a business for him. He’s genuinely created something with heart, and it shows in the details. We’re so happy he built this space. It’s beautiful, warm, and genuinely great value for money. Would happily come back.

A rare find

Pros: Quiet peaceful location. Sofa in the room. Large shared fridge. Access to the facilities in Haris Seashell. Good wifi. Good breakfasts and dinner. Very good beaches close by. Good and very cheap bus service into town just a short stroll away. Very friendly staff.

A truly unique, ancient, and beautiful farm stay.

Pros: A truly unique, ancient, and beautiful farm stay. The property is very neat and clean, and the rooms are well equipped with air-conditioning. The staff respond immediately whenever anything is required. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served at the beach property, which is only a minute walk from the farm stay and has a breath-taking view of the ocean. The real highlight, however, is Mr. Haris himself. The moment you meet and speak with him, you feel a sense of warmth—as if you are at home and an elder is personally looking after you. That feeling truly elevates the entire stay. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely visit again. The beach property has a lovely little private beach that can be accessed during low tide. Thottada Beach is also just a 12-minute walk away—beautiful, quiet, and wonderfully secluded.”

Pros: It was amazing!! unfortunately we could only stay one night but haris and his brother are very kind, great hosts! we got to enjoy an amizing dinner and breakfast on the terrace overviewing the beautiful sea! thanks alot for everything!

Pros: This home offers the best of both worlds: a spacious interior with traditional architecture and a prime location near all main attractions, with the beach just a short walk away.

Wonderful stay and brilliant people

Pros: Harris and Miraj made us so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Haris took us to harvest pumpkin, then made halva. Miraj took us to Kannur and showed us round. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, rooms were great, food good and beaches perfect. Highly recommended!

Cons: It was all brilliant.

Calm heritage bungalow on the cliff

Pros: It is a calm & scenic place with heritage vibes on the cliff & well connected to a beach. Food is delecious & staff is welcoming. You can spend quality time with nature & family at this place.
