Great place to stay, but never at the time of any events happening in the courtyard.

Pros: The ambiance was great and the hotel is located in a village away from all the sound pollution which makes the stay a serene one. The caretaker Mr. Ramakrishnan needs a special metion for his hospitality and helping mentality.

Cons: There was a wedding function that was organised in the courtyard of the hotel during our stay. We were notified by the hotel admin that the event will take place for a few hours, and we won't face any difficulties because of that. So we limited ourselves by not getting out of the property and staying inside until the fuction is over, although we paid for utilizing the whole facilities of the property. But the attendees of that function were using the whole premises that included the corridor outside our room, which resulted in having a zero privacy, which ended up in destroying the main reason for renting out such a place for staying. We had to stay inside our rooms for the whole time, which the function was taking place. Although the event started on the next day morning of our stay, the preparations for the stage and the hall started from the night we checked in. Only because of this event and the disturbances like strangers intruding on your privacy resulted in the failure of the hotel's promise of having a calm atmosphere to rejuvenate your inner peace.

Pros: Best Heritage is a wonderful place to stay, featuring traditional Kerala architecture known as Tharawad. It offers spacious covered car parking, a children's play area, and a private pond. The manager, Mr. Ramakrishna, is very kind and helpful, and the cooks are also pleasant. This location is just 4 km away from the famous Mridanga Shyleswari temple, and within 10 to 15 km, there are several more temples, including Thodekulam Shiva Temple, Kottiyur Shiva Temple, and Sivapuram Shiva Temple. Additionally, (Iritti) is only 8 km away, where you'll find plenty of shops and hotels. If anyone wants to spend their holidays with family in a farmhouse setting, this is the perfect choice.
