Pros: The room is perfectly situated, very close to the Urulikkal check post, which is great for trekking. The view is wonderful. I felt welcomed and really enjoyed my stay there.

Good stay
Pros: Our stay at Glass House Retreat was truly peaceful and memorable. It felt like a very safe place for families, and we were especially touched by the care shown by the senior citizen owners. SS uncle and aunty took great care of us and our kids, spending time with us and making us feel completely at home. The entire experience felt like staying in our own house, filled with warmth and comfort. Thank you, SS uncle and aunty, for your hospitality. We will always remember this stay with happiness!

Good place for families.
Pros: The rooms are located inside a peaceful village, surrounded by beautiful nature. The glass view from the rooms covers the lake, tea estates, and mountains, making the stay very scenic and relaxing. Our family really enjoyed this place — the rooms and washrooms were quite big, very neat, and clean. The property owners stay on-site, and they take excellent care of the guests, which made us feel very safe and comfortable. It’s a great place for families looking for a calm and refreshing getaway. The home-cooked food was extremely tasty and felt just like eating at home.
Cons: One small disadvantage is that there is no mobile network inside the property, but they do provide Wi-Fi, so connectivity is still manageable.

Pros: Very sophisticated stay cattered with delicious Home made breakfast. [ Lunch and Dinner available if requested with extra charges but worth every penny ]

Pros: The stay is in the perfect spot. Rooms were perfect. Friendly owner. The view is worth money.
Cons: You have to totally rely on the wifi. You won't have network in the room. But if you walk 100mts, you'll get a single point. The owner can't do anything about it, but this is the only problem we faced.

Pros: I recently stayed at this charming little cottage tucked inside a quiet village, and it was a truly memorable experience. The rooms were neat and clean, offering all the comfort you'd want while still keeping that cozy, homely vibe. Even though the river nearby was dry during my visit, the peaceful landscape and open land had a beauty of their own. A special shoutout to Vishnu, the manager (and possibly the owner)—his hospitality was heartfelt and genuine, making the stay feel even more personal. Being there reminded me so much of spending time at my grandma’s house, only with a touch of luxury. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat away from the city buzz, this place is a hidden gem.
Cons: Nothing much! Everything is okay for me.

Nice view from room
Pros: The view from the room is good, unfortunately during our stay there was no water at the lake.prefer to visit on mansoon season.Property located on the edge of the lake. newly constructed room so very clean room. Got homemade food from the property owner. Supportive host.hot water available all the time.
Cons: No mobile network, unable to make calls in case of emergency.Room wifi is good.Need to mention the correct location of the property. Room located far from the city centre. No restaurant nearby.

Pros: We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cottage. The property owners live on-site, and they truly go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable. Safety and security were definitely top priorities, and we felt completely at ease throughout our stay. It’s a perfect spot for families looking to relax and enjoy some quality time together in a peaceful environment.The highlight, though, was the breathtaking view from the glass windows. Being surrounded by the serene waters of the dam added a sense of tranquility that made our experience even more special.Overall, this place is perfect for families seeking a quiet, safe, and intimate retreat. The warm hospitality from the property owners only made the stay more memorable.
