Camellia Heights 1&2

Pros: the best choice i made when visiting conoor. it's just 7 mins from the station and city center but in a total quiet scenic lane with stunning views as the entire room and common hall face the hills. large wide window.excellent location. clean room. delicious breakfast and tea included. private and quiet with no disturbances. Gerald was very kind to let me do a very early check in and a late check-out. i liked the room so much that i cancelled my plan to stay in Ooty the next night and decided to just visit it during the day and come back to crash here for an extra night. decent cafes and restaurants are just walking a bit and same for the tuktuk/rickshaw. the view from the windows in the room or whether from the large common hall are truly zen like. you could spend the day just sitting and resting. loved it. will come again!

One of the best stays in Coonoor

Pros: Perfect location and hospitality. View from room and common room is amazing. Complimentary breakfast is literally so good, each day new item which is made freshly by the caretaker . The close location to a bunch of well rated restaurants ( 5 mins walk) and supermarket is a very good point. Further it's towards the outskirts of coonoor city so closer to tea estates and view points( 10-20 mins by car). Overall, one of the best budget stays I had!!

Cons: The rooms are right next to main road and many auto/car drive by so I could hear the noise sometimes and that's bit inconvenient if you want to sleep/rest during day time.

Definitely recommend a stay here! One of the best views in Bedford, Coonoor!

Cons: While clean the bathroom looked very used and the toilet seat was stained and damaged and felt a bit icky to use

A hidden gem, feels like heaven.

Pros: Gerald was an amazing host and his caretaker could not have been more helpful. He welcomed us later at night and showed us a restaurant to go to, giving us a lift there. He set us up a tour which was amazing through the plantations. The room is older in style but the most comfortable beds yet in India. The view from the window when we awoken was like heaven and we spent two hours sat on window seats just marvelling at the beauty of the area. A heavenly stay with a great breakfast of eggs and toast, with proper tea 😊

Cons: Nothing. Treat yourself this is a gem.

Beautiful mountain view

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Camelia Heights! A big thank you to the owner, Gerald, for being so welcoming and accommodating throughout our visit. We also truly appreciate the caretaker for the attentive service and kindness. The mountain view was absolutely beautiful and made our mornings extra special. The place is peaceful and quiet — perfect for relaxing and unwinding. We also really enjoyed the delicious breakfast each day. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Pros: Incredible view! The room was bright and spacious. Great location. Hot water showers were always available. Good breakfast (choice of Indian or continental). Staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros: The manager was super nice. The location is perfect and beautiful. Spacious room with good storage possibilities. Clean.

Cons: The breakfast staff did not speak or understand english. The bathroom was weird. No runoff for the water after shower. Toilet seat leaned heavily(!) backwards. The faucet on the sink was loose and crooked. Not really big issues but still... 😑
