Home from home

Pros: The homestay is in a residential area. The family were friendly, helpful, and kind. The accommodation was impressively clean. I had a private entrance and balcony. I was allowed to use the washing lines. I was readily given an extra bucket, towel, and bottled water. There were dispensers containing hand soap and shower gel in the bathroom. The bedding, and surprisingly the quilt, were all freshly laundered. There was plenty of shelving, also coat hangers. The mosquito screens were well fitted. Everything was well maintained and cared for.

Cons: The bedroom didn't have any windows. The bathroom was small.

Very helpful host, organised and clean accomodation which was good value

Pros: We had a very easy stay in this well-organised, clean, good value guesthouse. Our host went out of his way - he was up late to welcome us, and then early to ensure we got our tuktuk to the station two days later! Nothing was too much trouble. It was helpful that the rest house was a couple of kilometres to the station too as this was our mode of transport.

I had a comfortable stay.

Pros: There was no breakfast. However, I could request for coffee. The room and premises were clean. It is a comfortable pace with a living room area where one can sit and relax and talk to the caretakers/ owner. The host allowed me to use of another available room while occupants in the room alotted to me had not checked out.

Cons: The room needed to be cleaned the next day.
