Lotus Jewel Forest Camping

Perfect stay

Pros: It was just perfect. The location was in the middle of the forest. I stayed at a beautiful tree house. It was so peaceful there and the view was amazing. The host Sajan helped me out in any situation, organized bus tickets, drove me to the bus station, was always friendly and his cooking skills were amazing. Thank you very much again! I can really recommend for everybody to stay there!

An amazing stay in a very special place

Pros: Firstly, the location is amazing, right on the edge of the forest, so sightings of birds and deer were plentiful during my stay. The hut was cute and comfy and I especially enjoyed the large window out onto the meadow. Finally, the hospitality was excellent. Sajan Lal, the caretaker, was incredibly generous and accommodating throughout, seeing to my every need (transport, food, refreshments, bonfire) and making me feel right at home!

Cons: Understandable as this is a camping experience, but the shower had no hot water. Come prepared!

Pros: magnificent place completely immersed in nature. the wooden houses are characteristic and have all the basic comforts to have an excellent stay. the terrace open to nature is spectacular, you can spend hours in that place. The food is particularly good from breakfast to dinner

Pros: Location was so beautiful…stay was fabulous…service of Sajanlal was awesome.He treated us very well in friendly manner…His cocking, way of talking , presentation of the food all were so good.

Cons: Washroom can make in little better ways

Perfect place for nature lovers alongside jungle

Pros: The experience of staying in a wooden lodge with views and sounds of the jungle felt surreal. Perfect place to book a stay for 2. The sound of nature and views of animals, mostly deers during the evening and night time were amazing. Amazing non-veg food offered by cook. The chapatis weren’t that great but the host (Mr. Sajan Lal) was kind enough to not charge for it. Overall, an awesome and economic stay for someone looking to stay around nature with a kind and empathetic host.

Cons: The location is a bit remote but can be reached easily if you have your own vehicle. In any case, the host will help you. The cook has less experience making chapatis. Would recommend getting food from outside if you’re vegetarian.

Pros: The vibe was great, completely in the forest but felt really safe, staff were very helpful.

Pros: The food made by Sophian was extremely delicious and healthy. I must appreciated his cooking skills. Every day he came up with some lip smacking experimental new recipes

Cons: Sorry,there aren't anything about this place which I didn't like .... everything was great ,, a tree house in the middle of a forest with all comfort n great food .

Pros: The owner made me a typical kerala style breakfast and even came to pick mme up from the bussttop at 5 am in the morning. Thee property is so beautiful , and he did everything to make my stay as nice as possible. I even saw Elephants just in the backyard from my room. Gogogo , it's Paradise

Pros: The view from the bedroom balcony was incredible! Loved waking up to nature every morning.

Ambient stay near nature away from city hustle

Pros: I really enjoyed the stay here, I felt so welcomed by sufiyan who run the place at the moment and the neighbors to the stay were really nice. It is important to know that the place is located a bit outside town, so there are no restaurants or big shops around. But that is not a problem as the stay can arrange food for a reasonable price and also transportation as you like. The location also comes with a very calm feeling away from all the hustle in town. We were able to spot deers and listen to Peacocks and endless other birds from the actual accommodation. The huts a gorgeous and simple in the same time. There were some differences in the different huts available. The bed in mine was soft and had a balcony facing the forest. The door was quite simple, so there were some monkeys that sneaked in to take some fruits i had, so be careful how you store your fruits :) To sum up, I really recommend this place!
