Pros: As mentioned several times in the comments , you'll be welcomed here with smiles , friendliness and you'll feel instantly good 🌞 The food is tasty , the location is perfect and a short 5 minutes walk to the beach. This is the the typical homestay vibe you're looking for while traveling , we already miss this place to be honest. A home away from home in Kannur - thanks to Aparna!

Pros: Aparna runs the best place in Kannur - an ultimate place to stay! Ivory Coaste is located near two beautiful beaches with easy access, and the rooms have everything you need even for a longer stay. But what truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere Aparna creates. She is lovely, extremely helpful, and makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. She is such a warm and caring person, and this energy is contagious - all the guests end up being incredibly nice to each other too. The home-cooked food is amazing. Across our stay we tried multiple different dishes and discovered so many new flavours. She serves both veg and non-veg, and every single meal was a highlight. On top of that, whatever you might need, Aparna can always accommodate - whether it's organising a Theyyam ritual visit, finding local surf instructors, or helping with airport transfers. This is truly a marvelous place to stay and we already miss it!

Cons: Honestly, we can't think of a single drawback. If anything, the only downside is that it's hard to leave!

Pros: Apana is a warmhearted and caring host, who went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. She was also very helpful with organising a visit of Theyyam for us. We enjoyed the hospitality, friendly atmosphere and homecooked meals at the homestay. The place as a whole feels unspoiled and quiet with beautiful empty beaches within walking distance. I can highly recommend to stay with Apana.

Perfect simplicity with a kind host and a beautiful beach close by

Pros: We loved our stay at Ivory Coaste for several very specific reasons. If you value the following, this is definitely the place for you: Perfect Location for us means: Remote and peaceful, yet just steps away from a beautiful beach with easy waves. Wonderful People: The staff and fellow guests were incredibly friendly, creating a very positive atmosphere overall. Simple & Delicious: The facilities and food embrace simplicity in the best way. The meals were delicious, with something new and fresh on the table every single day. A special shout-out to the owner: She was incredibly kind and went above and beyond, helping us arrange tuk-tuk rides and even sourcing a birthday cake. If you aren't a natural negotiator, she is also happy to help you navigate local prices! I thought I might miss having a pool, but with such a great beach nearby, I didn't miss it for a second.

Pros: A lovely place to stay. Arpana is an excellent hostess and makes everyone feel really welcome. The homestay is equidistant between two marvellous beaches. The food is great, and the rooms are simple but comfortable. It is nearby to many Theyyam so a great place to stay in Kannur.

Secluded heaven on north-Keralan paradise beaches

Pros: Location between Thottada and Kizhunna Beaches is great. The house is simple but neat and clean. Aparna is the most welcoming guest - she would service any request and will surely make you feel at home :) Thanks to her contacts, I was able to experience an amazing fire theyyam.

Basic accommodation but good value for money and friendly atmosphere

Pros: Lovely location near the beach. Simple cooking but excellent. Hostess Aparna friendly and extremely helpful.

An oasis in Kannur

Pros: We had an amazing holiday at this property. We spent two days here and were completely charmed by the host, her food and the comfort she provided in her homestay. The place had access to two beaches which were quiet and secluded. There was a gated parking available and the room was maintained and clean. We had the opportunity to interact with lovely guests who were staying here and unwind with some reading and relaxing at the beach. Will totally come back if we get the chance to book again :)
