Good one except the rat problem in the Kitchen as we opted this property for Kitchen use for kids

Pros: The place and area is very nice with a river nearby to go and see. Polite staff and usage of Kitchen to cook for kids. We booked two connected rooms along with a big hall and kitchen - which had ample space for kids to run around and play.

Cons: The only reason for not giving a 5 star rating is the rat problem in the kitchen. It made us a bit uncomfortable and uneasy as it kept eating all our eatables like Chapathi etc. We then had to keep everything in refrigerator or packed away. The only reason we chose this property is for its kitchen access.

Value For Money

Pros: I stayed with my family for one day and night. Good Ambience and Good staff support. Good for families and friends. Recommended for everyone.

Pros: Loved the stay, the rooms are big enough, clean and tidy, enough space, bathrooms are clean, all the rooms are air-conditioned, location is fabulous and is on the banks of barathapuzha... The owner Joseph is very helpful, always available over the telephone and he was there in and around during our stay, everything was tailored to our needs, refurbishing is still going on in the building.. I would recommend the place for small families and also for larger groups up to 16 people.. The care taker is a nice fellow, Breakfast provided to us at our preference and time.. Overall great experience 😀😀

Pros: Everything about this place is refreshing 🙂❤️ If you want to suggest friends or come by yourself to be immersed in an authentic Kerala village experience, This is it🙂❤️ A traditional kerala home kept in the same way with modern amenities. A place to relax and a get away from The busy schedule of life. A special mention to care takers. They are always there to make you feel comfortable Also as an icing in the cake, River nila or bharathapuzha is flowing through the boundaries of this place.

Cons: Nothing. A little suggestion is that a name board at the main road will help guests. Location is incorrect in booking. com

Pros: Vintage Vistas is a lovely old house in the most beautiful location. Joseph and his team are so hospitable. The perfect place for a quiet time - by a gorgeous river, surrounded by palms and other lush vegetation. The birdlife is so varied . The room was spacious and very comfortable. Thanks for a lovely stay - when we return to India we will be back!

Great spot for a off grid stay

Pros: Beautiful Ancestral property midst of nature, well maintained and comfortable.

Pros: This property is exceptional, a beautiful blend of tradition, culture & nature. Recommends for those who love to get relaxed, unwinding mood with the above mentioned elements.

Apart from the connectivity, the stay was a good one. With a serene village homestay kinda vibe.

Pros: The breakfast was provided from a local restaurant and it was fresh.

Cons: The location is a bit confusing to find using just the google maps, but local autowalas were really helpful and took us to the right spot.

Pros: This is a vintage property which my family entirely enjoyed throughout our stay. The warm and pleasant hospitality of the host, Mr. Joseph made us feel like special guests, we are for them. A very good place to evade your chaotic city life and to dwell in nature and peace. Serene and tranquil environment of this property and its location on the riverbanks makes an indelible memory about this property. An ideal spot to relish with a big crowd of friends and family.

Pros: Vintage Vista is located in a calm and peaceful location surrounded by lush greenery, by the river bank. The host Mr. Agison Joseph is like family, friendly and took personal care of us like when you are visiting a relative's home. If you are travelling to visit Ivar Madom or for a laid-back trip, please do not miss Vintage Vista, you will have beautiful memories.
